Anthony Miltich, a popular singer/guitarist from the Fergus Falls area will perform a coffeehouse concert at Central Square on Tuesday, February 12 beginning at 7:00pm. He sounds (and looks) a lot like James Taylor, but he has his own style of music and great stage personality.
If you saw “Songs From the Tall Grass” here last spring, you will recognize Anthony. We are presenting the performance in the wonderful Stage Floor Café setting in the Auditorium. Tickets are $12, include refreshments and will be available at the door. The program is sponsored in part by the Pope County Tribune.
Prairie Fire Children’s Theater will be here the third week of March with their production of “Alladin and His Lamp”.
The cast will be comprised of Minnewaska Area Elementary School students. Auditions will be held on Monday, March 18th. Rehearsals run that week with performances on Friday March 22 in the afternoon and evening. Contact Central Square at 320-634-0400 for more information or to sign your children up.
One of the most creative and cutting edge performances of “Romeo and Juliet” will be presented at Central Square on Saturday, April 13 as part of the Concert Series. Watch for more information.
J. Mark McVey, a fantastic Tenor and nationally known singer who performed the role of Jean Valjean on Broadway, the West End in London and in the 25th Anniversary production of “Les Miserables”. The concert will be held at Central Square on Friday, May 3rd.
